Introduction to Photoshop

🎨 What is Photoshop?

Adobe Photoshop is a powerful tool for editing images, creating digital art, and designing graphics. It’s used in photography, marketing, web design, and more.

🖥️ Interface Overview

When you open Photoshop, you’ll see:

  • Menu Bar (Top): File, Edit, Image, Layer, etc.
  • Toolbox (Left): Selection tools, brush, eraser, crop, text, etc.
  • Options Bar (Top under Menu): Settings for the selected tool.
  • Canvas/Workspace (Center): Where you work on your image.
  • Panels (Right): Layers, Color, Adjustments, History, etc.

🧱 Understanding Layers

Photoshop uses layers like transparent sheets stacked on top of each other.

  • Layers let you edit one part of your design without affecting others.
  • Use the Layers panel (usually bottom right) to add, delete, rearrange, or group layers.
